Magnetic Precautions
Notes on magnetism in watches
If a watch is affected by magnetism, it may lose or gain time or stop working.
Please be aware that you may be affected by magnetic electronic devices and everyday items around you.
Mechanical Watches
Once a mechanical watch is exposed to a magnetic field, even if it is removed from the magnetic source, the magnetic field remains inside the watch and may adversely affect the accuracy of the watch. In such a situation, repairs will be required, so please be extremely careful with magnetism.
Analog Quartz Watch
If an analog quartz watch is affected by magnetism, the time display may become inaccurate. In this case, if you remove the watch from the magnetic source, it will usually return to normal operation, so please readjust the time to the correct time. This is generally not a malfunction, so in most cases you can continue to use it without any problems.
* Although not as serious as mechanical watches, analog quartz watches may still be affected by magnetism inside. In that case, professional repairs will be required, just like mechanical watches.
Examples of equipment to be aware of
* It may be subject to strong magnetic effects when placed in close contact with the device.
If you move it more than 5cm away, there will be almost no effect.

Please avoid placing your watch near or storing it in the same place as any of the above-mentioned devices that emit magnetism.
(Example) Carrying a watch in a handbag together with a smartphone or portable music player
