The reference number "7808" refers to "Tank Louis Cartier," and the "6" at the end indicates "LM size." The manufacturing period for the Louis Cartier Collection, which began by reissuing and redefining 12 iconic Cartier designs (such as Tank, Santos, and Baignoire), is said to be from 1973 to around 1979. Afterward, in the 1980s, the lineup was reorganized, and its spirit was carried on to the "Collection Privée Cartier Paris (CPCP)," which began in 1998. Ref. 78086 dials exist with "PARIS" at the 6 o'clock position and "SWISS" at the 6 o'clock position.
