[Warranty] 1 year [Comment] Patek Philippe Ref. 3580 is an extremely rare model said to have been manufactured from around 1972 to around 1980. Following the footsteps of the "Golden Ellipse" announced in 1968, the tonneau-shaped case, which pursued a more futuristic and modern form, is affectionately known among collectors as the "Disco Volante (flying saucer)" or "UFO". At the time, influenced by space-age design, great effort was put into developing original designs that were not confined to traditional round or square shapes, and innovative movements. The most distinctive feature is that the crown is located on the case back, not on the side of the case. This eliminates protrusions from the case silhouette, achieving a beautiful, symmetrical oval shape. The Cal.350 movement features an ultra-thin automatic movement with a peripheral rotor. Normally, automatic movements are thick because the rotor is stacked on top of the movement, but by placing the rotor on the periphery, it maintains the thinness of a manual-winding watch despite being an automatic. The adoption of this movement made the aforementioned backwinder design possible.
